Sorry I’ve been a little MIA the last couple weeks.  Things have been kind of crazy in triplet land but we did see a 2nd ENT (ear, nose, throat) doctor this past week and this doctor also said that the girls are tongue tied but, in her opinion it’s not very bad and will not affect their speech later YIPPEE!!!!  Apparently when the babies are tiny newborns, it’s a very simple procedure to clip it but as they get older the skin becomes thicker and tougher and there are more nerves involved.  After all the girls went through during their first 3 months of life in the NICU, the last thing we want to do is to have to put them under for any reason.  So that news was very good to hear and put our minds at ease  Quick update: the girls turned 8 months old on the 11th (6 months adjusted since they were born 2 months early).  Grace weighed in at 12lbs 8oz, Lily at 12lbs 6oz and Anaia at 12lbs 2oz.  

One more thing before I jump into this weeks “Mommy Hearts It Monday”…. I just want to say publicly what an amazing husband I have.  It is not an easy task to be a triplet dad and he does it with such patience and ease it seems.  He has been working his butt off non stop since I was hospitalized at 26 weeks pregnant.  He works three jobs, does all of our shopping and errand running, makes time to spend with the girls every day, and somehow manages to always pick me up a meal, or snack, or drink, or treat on his way home from anywhere.  He loves his girls so very much and they sure adore their Daddy!

Now back to another “Mommy Hearts It Monday”!  So glad to be back!!!!  It felt a little weird skipping two weeks… like I was forgetting something.  I have been looking forward to this post for the past 2 months!!!  I’m actually featuring two shops that I love this week.  Kenzie Jaws and Vivi’s Jewels.

These precious mint striped bloomers are made by Vivi’s Jewels.  Lauren Eoff (owner, maker, designer) at Vivi’s Jewels is a grateful believer in Jesus Christ and mother of toddler Vivien Jule.  The shop was birthed out of her desire to make Vivien a few bows and headbands.  She soon moved on to hand embellished/sewn onesies, and from there moved on to the sewing machine.  She makes the most adorable jumpers, dresses, shorts, blouses, trousers, bloomers, skirts, and cropped tanks.  You can find her shop on Etsy and follow her on Instagram and Facebook.
