After about 11 months of maternity leave (4 of which were spent in the hospital), I am starting my photography business back up, but, my session availability will be very limited.
Family sessions are what I love and do best! There’s a certain kind of unspoken love and understanding between families. When you see a family interacting, and see the way they look at one another, and laugh and cry together, it’s heart warming. It’s something that’s hard to describe in words but can be captured beautifully through a single photograph or series of photographs. Those photographs are literally worth a thousand words and are something that grow more and more valuable over time. I would love nothing more than to be able to capture your family through my lens as a custom and unique art form. Not only do I help plan and do the photo session, but I take great pride in creating more than just “pictures”. I help you all the way from booking, through to viewing a custom slideshow of your best images in the comfort of your home. I am there to measure and look at the style of your home to help you choose how to best display your final pieces. If you think you’d like custom family photos on display throughout your home, don’t wait! You can find more information by following the links provided below.
The Teryn Robinson Photography Experience
Between now and Thanksgiving is when you’ll want to have family photos done if you want to use them for this year’s holiday cards. If you want a family session with me, don’t wait until the last minute to book. The more time we have to plan, find the perfect location, and shop for coordinating outfits, the better your session will turn out!
Now… when I say I will be taking a limited number of sessions, I mean limited. I plan on taking 1-2 family sessions per month which means 5-10 between now and Thanksgiving. Based on past experience, they’ll likely fill up quickly so don’t wait to book!

This family was one of the last I did before being forced to start my maternity leave earlier than expected. I have had the privilege of doing two family sessions for them, one high school senior, and one newborn. I never got around to blogging this session because of my high risk pregnancy. I was consumed with staying healthy, and keeping the three little lives growing inside me healthy. We had a lot of fun (which included a little rain, a quick run to Target because someone showed up with only one shoe, and someone peeing their pants… no really!), we created great memories, and we got to capture the essence of who this family is. I got to capture raw emotion and the way they interact with and support one another. These kinds of sessions are what I’m in business for and what I look forward to the most. It’s like sweet music to my heart and soul. THIS is what God has called me to do with my business.
